Take Advantage of Loan Pre-Qualification
A number of factors determine the price range of homes you'll want to preview - one of these factors is how much house you can afford. And with interest rates historically low, you are likely to be able to afford more than you realize.
As your agent, I will help you pre-qualify. Items considered when pre-qualifying for a mortgage loan include:
- Employment History
- W2's or 1099's
- Credit History and Scores
- Monthly Income and Expenses

There are many different types of loans to consider - FHA, VA and Conventional. There are specialty loan products like the 203K that will allow you to borrow money for needed repairs along with the price of the home.
The single biggest advantage to prequalification is being able to make an offer on a home and provide the seller with the letter that says you are already pre-qualified. It says you are serious about the process and gives you a leg up over any other offers the seller might receive.
